This immersive event gives high school students the opportunity to connect with aviation and aerospace professionals, explore career paths, and gain firsthand experience with cutting-edge technology.
As part of the event, FlyGuys will educate alongside live drone demonstrations, allowing students to see professional drone technology in action and learn about its applications in various industries in need of data capture.
For the demonstrations, drone instruction for students will be supported by the University of Louisiana at Monroe’s Assistant Professor of Aviation, Darrion Flunder-Jenkins, further enhancing the educational experience and providing expert insights into drone operations and career opportunities in aviation technology.
The AviNation American Dream Tour brings together commercial pilots, drone pilots, helicopter pilots, agricultural pilots, A&P mechanics, airport managers, air traffic controllers, FBO managers, meteorologists, engineers, avionics technicians, and more to share their career journeys and inspire the next generation of aviation professionals.
